What We Collect
We collect different types of information from you depending on each type of service you choose from us.
- When you choose to register yourself with BrandsDirect, we will collect your name, e-mail address and Zip code, plus ask you to enter a login and password. With this information, our computers can store your personalized shopping cart items and any shopping information you collect from our Web store, so that it is available to you on your next visit with us.
- When you choose to participate in one of our online promotions, we will ask you for your name, e-mail address, and Zip code in order to be able to contact you via e-mail regarding an incentive on your next purchase. Should this promotion be a contest, we will use your information to contact you should you win.
- When you choose to order online with us, we will request information that will ensure that your order is processed in an accurate, secure and timely manner. The information we request includes your name, billing address, delivery address, e-mail address, contact phone number, delivery and installation preferences, credit card number and credit card expiration date. In fulfilling your order, we only share this information with our store partners and other fulfillment affiliates to the extent necessary to fulfill your order in a satisfactory manner.
- We only use your credit card information for payment processing and do not retain your credit card information for other purposes.
- When you choose to order online with us, you will receive administrative e-mail regarding your order that cannot be opted out of. The first e-mail you receive will be an acknowledgement of your order. The information included in this order acknowledgement consists of product descriptions and identification, product pricing, your total order cost, your order number, and confirmation of your delivery and installation information. This e-mail will contain all of your order information so that you will be able to track the status of your order at any time. You will also receive a second e-mail when your order is fulfilled through one of our fulfillment partners reminding you of delivery times, and confirming all installation information.
- Following your purchase at BrandsDirect, we may use your information to follow up with you to evaluate the quality of your purchase, delivery and installation experience and to request any feedback you may have to help us serve you better the next time.
- We will always give you an opportunity to opt out of any non-fulfillment e-mail we send to you, should you give us permission to e-mail you with product information, product specials or any other shopping information that may be of benefit to you in making a purchase decision.
