The BrandsDirect
Internet Shopping Service is designed to assist you in finding and purchasing
major appliances for your home through the nation's single largest network of
home appliance stores. For those customers wishing to order their major appliances
online, their order will be delivered and installed through one of our network's
5,600 local Member Dealers across the country. These local industry professionals
will deliver and install your appliance, assisted by BrandsDirect Service Advisors
who oversee your e-commerce experience during the purchase, delivery or pick-up,
and installation of your appliances.
The BrandsDirect
Delivery and Installation Process
- During the online
check-out process, you will be prompted to answer a series of delivery and
installation questions that help us better understand the challenges that
lay ahead in delivering and installing your major appliance from one of our
Member Dealers, to the space in your home.
- You will have
the choice to have your product held for Pick-Up, just Delivered, or Delivered
and Installed, via one of our Member Dealers.
- A
Delivery Fee is included in your Purchase Order Total
based on the proximity of a local Member Dealer if you choose Delivery and
answer the Delivery Questions.
- An
Estimated Installation Fee is included on your Purchase
Order if you choose to have one of our Member Dealers install your product(s).
(We will forward your Installation Info and Product Order to the Member
Dealer who will sell you this service directly).
- After answering
the Delivery and/or Installation questions (if applicable) and submitting
your order, you will receive an e-mail Confirmation with your Order
Number to confirm that your order has been received by our Service Center.
- Your Purchase
Order will be assigned to one of our Service Advisors who will oversee
your e-commerce experience with and fulfillment via a local Member Dealer.
Our Service Advisor may call you back to clarify any outstanding questions
with regards to your order and to confirm your delivery time preferences.
- After your Purchase
Order is routed to a BrandsDirect Member Dealer, you will receive a 2nd
e-mail confirming the Delivery time or Store Pick-Up and the Member Dealer's
contact information.
- If you requested
Installation, within 24 hrs after reviewing your order, a professional at
the Member Dealer will call you back with their cost for installing your product(s),
based on the installation questions you answered, and the type of product(s)
you ordered. If a Member Dealer does not call you back in this time period,
you may call a BrandsDirect Service Advisor to get a quick answer regarding
your order.
- We will be able
to schedule a 4-hour delivery and installation window for you so that you
are able to adequately plan your day. You may request a Courtesy Call the
night before from one of our Service Advisors to confirm this delivery window.
- For your convenience,
for an additional charge, off-hours Deliveries can be arranged by one of our
Service Advisors at an additional fee.
- Frequently,
certain types of Custom Installations require work that our Member Dealers
do not provide. This usually involves custom contracting work in which a state-licensed
professional is required to complete the installation. In these cases Our
Member Dealer will direct you accordingly.
- Whether you
schedule your order for Pick-up, or have it Delivered and Installed, our BrandsDirect
Service Advisor works with you and will follow-up with the Member Dealer to
ensure that your Purchase Order is fulfilled in a Delightful manner.
